Your trust and the protection of your privacy are our absolute priority.

Move and Study undertakes to do everything in its power to ensure the protection of your personal data.

People working for Move and Study are required to respect the confidentiality of your information.

Our privacy policy applies to all personal data collected through the registration form, on our website, on mobile pages, widgets and other applications (e.g. applications, social media channels, e-mails and newsletters).

The data collected will be processed with the greatest care, in good faith, and used for commercial purposes, to improve the functions of the website, and to provide a market-focused offer for analysis, marketing and consultation purposes.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

DATA OF PARTICIPANTS AND THEIR LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES

When you register, or when you register your child for one of our language courses abroad, we collect a certain amount of personal data that is essential to booking your language course.

We collect the following data:
▪ Identity of the participant and of the legal guardians in the case of a language course for a minor (surname, first name, date of birth, country of birth, country of residence, nationality, sex)
▪ Full contact details: telephone numbers (mobile, home and work), e-mail addresses, postal address
▪ The participant's language level
▪ Socio-demographic information and other information provided by you
▪ Medical information
▪ Data relating to stays completed, planned and booked
▪ General preferences and wishes
▪ Information collected via cookies, pixel tags and other technologies
▪ Server log file information
▪ Browser and device information
▪ Aggregated information

All personal data is processed in strict confidence. We use this information to book and document your trip, to book additional services (Allianz Assistance cancellation / repatriation insurance, AVI International health insurance, etc.) as well as for marketing and data analysis purposes.

We share this personal data only with the business partners and service providers who need it to carry out the booking.

Our business partners include in particular our partner schools (responsible for the transfer, the language courses and the accommodation at the respective destination). Our partners are not entitled to use personal data for marketing purposes.

The only exception would be in the case of a request from a law enforcement body that is subject to the law.

DATA OF VISITORS TO OUR WEBSITE

When you access our website, we automatically collect and store certain information through log files or through cookies.

Here are some examples of the information collected: IP address, operating system, time and day of connection, pages visited, requests sent, etc.

Personal data may also be collected through the various forms (contact form, brochure download form, brochure order form, form to ask us a question about a stay, posting a comment, etc.), when you sign up to our newsletter or when you talk to us on our online chat system.

SOCIAL NETWORK DATA

Plug-ins from various social network platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram) are embedded in our pages. When you visit our pages, the plug-in establishes a direct connection between your browser and the social network platform's server. The platform thus obtains the information that you have visited our site. If you click the "Like" or "Share" button, or if you play a video while logged in to the corresponding platform, the platform may attribute the visit to your user account. To assess the effectiveness of advertising on social networks, we use cookies such as Facebook's "Visitor Action Pixel". This allows us to track user behaviour once they have clicked on our advertisement. The data is anonymous and gives no clue as to the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by the social network platforms.

The privacy policy of the platforms used can be found here:

GOOGLE ADWORDS DATA

For our online advertising, we use the Google AdWords service. When you click on an advertisement we have placed, a "cookie" is stored on your computer. If you visit certain pages of our site, Google and we ourselves can recognise that you clicked on the advertisement. The information collected is used to generate reports and analyses.

The remarketing function also allows us to address users who have already visited our website or who can be assigned to a specific target group. You can consult the Google Adwords privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de

GOOGLE ANALYTICS DATA

We also use the Google Analytics service, a website analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google") to analyse user behaviour. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyse how users use the site.

The data generated by the cookies concerning your use of the site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers located in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the site, compiling reports on site activity for its publisher and providing other services relating to site activity and internet use.

Google may pass this data on to third parties where there is a legal obligation, or where those third parties process the data on Google's behalf, including in particular the publisher of this site. Google will not cross-reference your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You can disable the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. However, such disabling could prevent the use of certain features of this site. By using this website, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data by Google under the conditions and for the purposes described above.

Cookies, some of which are first-party cookies (such as Google Analytics) and others third-party cookies, allow us to obtain information that is useful for more precise targeting in the promotion of our products online. We (and third-party suppliers including Google) collect interest-based data or audience data provided by third parties.

We use this data in particular to personalise our advertising as part of Display advertising campaigns, for example as part of remarketing campaigns, that is, personalised advertisements that we serve and optimise according to the visits made to our site. We (and third-party suppliers including Google) use these cookies to determine the relationship between the visits recorded on our site and the impressions of our advertisements.

You can at any time disable Google Analytics for Display advertising and personalise the advertisements served on the Google Display Network via the Ads Settings page.

ONLINE PAYMENTS

The Move and Study site allows you to make bank card payments online. Our website uses SSL encryption to protect the transmission of the confidential content you send us. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address bar shows "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser field. If SSL encryption is enabled, the data you provide us cannot be read by third parties.

In addition, when you make a payment, you are redirected directly to fully secure pages. Your bank card number and the information essential to the payment are entered through PayBox. These items are encrypted and confidential and your payment is recorded directly on the PayBox site. Your bank details are at no point passed on to Move and Study.

DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

We do not sell, exchange or transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include the trusted third parties who help us operate our website or run our business, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, breaches of our terms of use, or where the law requires us to. Non-private information, however, may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

USERS' RIGHTS

As a user, you have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you that has been stored.

You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data processed or deleted (provided that there are no legal retention periods and that we no longer absolutely need the stored data).

For any question concerning the processing of personal data, corrections or the deletion of your data, please contact us:
