Tucked away in the heart of Spain, Cadiz offers an authentic environment where learning Spanish blends harmoniously with immersion in a rich and well-preserved culture. With 80% Spanish tourism, this medium-sized city is a real oasis, surrounded by the sea and nature, far from the tourist bustle. Its city beaches are among the most popular in Europe, offering an idyllic setting for this unique experience.

CLIC School and Teaching Approach

Classes in Cadiz are given at a well-known school, using the International House teaching method. Focused on practical learning, this approach encourages constant communication. The teachers, native Spanish speakers trained in the International House method, devote themselves to language teaching specifically suited to young people. The classes, small with 6 to 12 students, take place in the morning, totalling 20 lessons per week.

Accommodation Options

Two accommodation options are available: the residence and a stay with a host family. The residence, ideally located in the heart of Cadiz, offers double rooms with a private bathroom, communal areas to relax and study, as well as meals served at fixed times. For total immersion, staying with a host family gives young people the chance to live with local families, in a double room and full board, no more than 15 minutes from the school.

Activities and Supervision

The afternoons are given rhythm by sporting, cultural and leisure activities, allowing participants to put into practice the language skills acquired in the morning. Excursions are also organised, including a half-day and a full day on Saturday. On the programme: kitesurfing, windsurfing and other beach sports, giving young people a unique chance to build ties with teenagers from all over the world.

International Participants

Diversity is guaranteed, with participants from more than 12 different nationalities, in particular North American, German, Italian and Russian. This diversity enriches the experience by encouraging cultural exchange and giving participants a privileged chance to practise Spanish in an international environment.
