Spanish, a residential campus and a Mediterranean summer near the beach

In Marbella Elviria, Enforex runs a junior language course in a more residential setting, designed for young people who want to learn Spanish while enjoying a strong summer environment. The proximity of the beach, the Andalusian atmosphere and the rhythm of the camp give the programme a very clear identity, at once linguistic, collective and summery.

Students take Spanish classes and take part in a programme of activities and excursions that helps them live the language in a variety of situations. This immersion logic is particularly useful for a junior audience: you learn in class, but also through life on site, group moments and the discoveries of the stay.

The Elviria setting suits families who prefer a campus option rather than a city-centre one, with a well-organised stay that is easy to understand. For teenagers, the experience remains attractive, active and highly motivating thanks to the destination and group life.

It is therefore a good way to combine Spanish, the seaside and supervision. A programme that appeals to young people while remaining reassuring for parents.

Enforex Marbella Las Chapas Alboran

The stay in detail

Our partner school offers an exciting junior programme for nature lovers, based on the magnificent campus of the Colegio Alboran in Marbella Las Chapas. Teenagers enjoy a wide range of sports facilities, in particular basketball and handball courts, tennis courts, playing fields, a climbing wall, vast green spaces, a riding school, a swimming pool, a football pitch and bright classrooms. Set in a breathtaking nature park, surrounded by a magnificent garden, the campus is less than a 15-minute walk from the beach and in the middle of green hills. The programme welcomes 220 students, made up of 60% young Spaniards and 40% young people from other countries.

The programme

The programme comprises 20 Spanish lessons of 45 minutes per week, that is 15 hours of classes in total, with classes from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 12.30 pm (4 lessons a day). The course programme aims to encourage communication and allows students to put what they have learnt in class into practice with their foreign classmates outside lessons. Classes take place in small groups of 8 students on average and 15 maximum, and are given by a team of qualified and experienced teachers. The course content, the material used and the methodology employed are adapted to the setting and atmosphere of a holiday camp. The methodology employed rests above all on a communicative approach covering the fundamental aspects of a language: grammar, speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, writing and so on. Students take a level test on the day they arrive at the camp and are divided into level groups. The programme offers 6 levels of Spanish, from beginner to advanced. Spanish and foreign students are separated during the morning classes and come together for the afternoon activities. Each student receives a certificate and a detailed assessment on the last day of the camp.

This teen language course offers excursions so that students can discover Spanish culture, food and geography. For each two-week period, there is at least one full-day excursion and two half-day excursions to nearby places of interest. These excursions aim to make the most of the special attractions around each camp town. Among the day excursions, students can visit cities such as Seville, Granada, La Alhambra, Tarifa, Ronda, Malaga, Torremolinos, Aquamijas, Parque de la Batería and Torremolinos, Bioparc + Fuengirola beach, Malaga and Malagueta beach, and so on. The half-day excursions include a tour of the town of Marbella, a water park, Aventura Amazonia, Bioparc and Puerto Banus. Students also have the chance to discover the entertainment and attractions of Puerto Banús and to see the neighbouring mountain ranges.

Accommodation:

The language camp takes place at the heart of the university campus, where students are accommodated in halls of residence. This accommodation allows total immersion in an international and multicultural atmosphere, thereby encouraging language practice outside the classroom. Spaniards and foreign students take part in the sporting and cultural activities together. The rooms are separated by age group and sex, and the number of places per room depends on availability. Campers sleep in rooms of 6-12 people, all equipped with bunk beds, wardrobes and air conditioning. Meals are made up mainly of Spanish and Mediterranean produce so that young people can discover the local cuisine. Meals are served at Spanish times, with a light breakfast, lunch at around 2 pm, a snack and dinner.
