In London South Bank, Kings Young Learners runs a junior language course designed for teenagers who want to learn English while making the most of the British capital. Located on the south bank of the Thames, a few steps from Borough Market, the Globe and Tate Modern, the centre puts young people in direct contact with the city within an organised and supervised framework.
The programme combines 15 hours of English a week with activities, group time and excursions. Students develop their fluency in English in an international atmosphere, while discovering London through the outings, the visits and daily life on site. The stay in detail
A central base for experiencing London the junior way
The South Bank centre benefits from a particularly strong location for a language course in London. Young people study in a dedicated building with classrooms, a student social area, Wi-Fi and an indoor sports hall, then go back to their university residences only a few minutes' walk from the main campus.
Accommodation is in a single room with a private bathroom, in shared apartments, with meals provided each day. The excursions and outings make it possible to explore both the great London classics and destinations such as Greenwich, Brighton, Oxford or Cambridge. The experience thus combines English, residence life and city immersion within a very well supervised framework.
