Spain: Child / teen language course in Madrid

Enforex Madrid is a language school offering a summer language camp programme for young people aged 5 to 18. This camp is tailored through a junior programme and allows total immersion in an international and multicultural atmosphere. With 60% of participants being young Spaniards, the camp is open to all and takes place in the main hall of residence of one of the most prestigious universities in Spain, the Francisco de Vitoria University.

On the Carretera de Pozuelo in Majadahonda, the university has a large campus with many green spaces and many indoor and outdoor facilities, such as relaxation rooms, television rooms, dining rooms, computer rooms with computers permanently connected to the internet, a gym, a football and basketball pitch, tennis and paddel courts, as well as a multi-sports pitch. Children and teenagers thus have everything they need to study and enjoy themselves in the best possible conditions and in complete safety, as they are supervised and looked after 24/7 by group leaders.

A typical day

The day at the Enforex Madrid school starts with breakfast between 8.30 am and 9.15 am, followed by a meeting of each group with their leaders at 9.15 am. Spanish classes then take place from 9.15 am until lunchtime, that is 1.30 pm. The afternoon, until 8 pm, is set aside for a range of cultural and sporting activities, leisure and rest.

Young people can take part in a host of sporting and fun activities, such as treasure hunts, competitions and mini-Olympics. Music, drama, journalism and open-air art workshops are also on offer. Excursions are also on the programme, such as visits to Toledo, the Prado Museum, Segovia, El Escorial, a water park and Madrid.

The accommodation

Young people will be accommodated in single or double rooms with a private bathroom, equipped with every comfort. They will be separated by sex and age group, encouraging bonds, exchanges and shared interests. The stay also includes three meals a day made up mainly of Spanish and Mediterranean produce, taken at Spanish times.

The city

Travelling to Madrid, young people will have the chance to discover a city rich in art and culture, historic heritage, squares and side streets, sport, food and shopping. The city is full of places and monuments to discover, such as the Royal Palace, the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor, the art museums (Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum...), the Retiro Park, the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium
