English, a residential campus and New York immersion for 12–17 year olds

In New York, Kings Young Learners welcomes 12 to 17 year olds on the campus of the University of Mount Saint Vincent, in the Riverdale district. Young people enjoy a supervised junior language course there in a leafy university setting, well connected to Manhattan and about 30 minutes from the centre. It is an option that makes it possible to discover New York while keeping a clear and reassuring residential framework.

The programme includes 15 hours of English a week, complemented by activities, sports and excursions. Students use English in class, but also every day with other young people from different countries, during campus life, group activities and the organised visits. This immersion helps teenagers gain fluency, confidence and independence.

The campus offers real advantages for a junior stay: modern classrooms, sports pitches, a multi-purpose hall, student lounges, a dance studio, on-site accommodation, Wi-Fi and pleasant surroundings with a view over the Hudson. Young people are accommodated in the residence, in comfortable rooms with shared bathrooms, with separate areas for girls and boys.
