The general language course or the language of communication
By general language or language of communication, we mean the register of language used for conversation and, more generally, for everyday exchanges, as opposed to specialist language, which refers to acquiring vocabulary specific to a particular environment or occupation.
A language course is a structured programme designed to teach and improve a person's language skills in a foreign language. Language courses are built to help learners acquire a better understanding and command of the target language by focusing on different aspects such as grammar, syntax, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and listening comprehension, and written and spoken expression.
Aims of language courses
