English Path students in St Julian’s, in Malta

English Path, English schools in Dubai and St Julian’s (Malta)

English Path is a network of language schools in nine countries. Here is who they are, how they teach, what sets them apart, and the two campuses we offer: Dubai and St Julian’s, in Malta.

Who is English Path?

English Path (“EP”) presents itself as a global education community: nine countries, eleven campuses and more than 30,000 students, with a satisfaction rate of 95% announced by the group. It teaches English, but also French, German and Arabic, and is part of the GEDU group.

Its campuses are in London, Birmingham and Leeds, in Dublin, Malta, Paris and Berlin, in Toronto, in Dubai and Riyadh, and in Brisbane. We present here only the two adult English campuses in our catalogue: Dubai and St Julian’s.

How they teach

General English follows a communicative approach: listening, speaking, reading and writing, with work on pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. Six levels, from beginner to advanced (A1 to C1), classes of at most 15 students, and more than ten cultural activities per week according to the group.

Three paces: Classic (20 lessons of 45 minutes per week), Semi-intensive (25 lessons) and Super Intensive (40 lessons). The student can add a “skill” of their choice: communication (levels A1 to B1), then career or study (from B1+), with for example workplace English, job interviews or IELTS preparation; private lessons are possible to progress faster.

What sets English Path apart

  • A network accredited country by country. The group cites the British Council in the United Kingdom, the ELT Council in Malta, Languages Canada in Toronto, ACELS and English Education in Ireland, and the KHDA authority in Dubai. These recognitions are those of each country, not of a single label.
  • Two campuses with very different atmospheres. Dubai, a modern city, and its Knowledge Park university district; St Julian’s, a Maltese seaside resort. According to its website, the Malta campus received the Excellence Award in 2025 and 2026, an award based on student reviews.
  • Support on site. A Student Services team, wellbeing and safety policies published by the group, and, in Malta, help with the visa.

Its programmes, and who they are for

In our catalogue, English Path offers General English at several paces on both campuses, IELTS preparation and small-group Business English (class of at most eight, from age 25) in Dubai. The courses are for adults; we do not show a minimum age here, because the catalogue, our centre pages and the group’s website do not give the same figure.

According to its website, the group also offers Arabic in Dubai, professional certificates, pathways to university, work experience and programmes for young learners: they are not part of our adult catalogue.

Prices: the Synergee price engine currently holds no rate for the Dubai and St Julian’s centres; we therefore show no price on this page.
