schools offering facilities for people with reduced mobility
Move and Study, a commitment to inclusion and universal accessibility
At Move and Study, we are deeply committed to fighting all forms of discrimination and work actively to make language learning and language courses abroad accessible to everyone, without exception. Our aim is to ensure that every student, whatever their specific needs, can enjoy a rewarding, immersive and barrier-free experience.
For students with reduced mobility, we have set up partnerships with schools and accommodation providers that meet the most demanding accessibility criteria. These establishments offer adapted facilities to guarantee comfort, safety and independence throughout the stay.
Adapted facilities for an inclusive stay
Easier access: Partner schools have adapted entrances with ramps or suitable lifts, allowing easy movement throughout the premises, including classrooms, communal areas and sports or cultural facilities.
Accessible accommodation: We work with residences and host families offering accommodation designed to meet the needs of people with reduced mobility. This accommodation includes spacious bedrooms, bathrooms fitted with grab rails, walk-in showers and other practical adaptations.
Personalised support: Some schools offer specific support for students with particular needs, such as adapted evacuation plans or on-site assistance with getting around.
Learning accessible to everyone
By making language courses abroad accessible, we allow every student to concentrate on learning the language and discovering the culture, without worrying about physical or logistical barriers. We work closely with our partners to ensure that every aspect of the experience — from the lessons to the accommodation, including the extracurricular activities — is inclusive and accessible.
At Move and Study, we firmly believe that language learning is a universal right. Our mission is to ensure that every student, whatever their background, can experience a rewarding language adventure, both academically and personally. Together, let us build a future where education and cultural opportunities are accessible to all, without exception.
