Studylease: the new online student accommodation website
Studylease, the new online platform offers accommodation dedicated to students and young professionals in around a hundred French cities as well as around ten English cities.
Our site is aimed not only at students but also at young professionals (18-30 years).
How to register
If you are looking for a particular residence, the process is simple: you type in the name of the city, your estimated budget and the dates you want. The search browser will then offer you around ten available residences that match your request and you will simply have to submit an application for the residence in question by clicking on the blue square at the bottom right "submit my application".
The advantage of our site is that it is free and without commitment, requiring no additional fees.
When completing the application, you will have to fill in information about yourself and state your parents' income to find out whether they can act as your guarantor.
You will receive a quick answer, within two to three days at most, from the manager, who will tell you whether or not your application has been accepted.
The compulsory supporting documents requested
- photocopy of a valid identity document
- photocopy of a valid visa or residence permit or equivalent
- photocopy of the student card or proof of enrolment
- bank details from a bank with a banking establishment in France
- a photocopy of the last three payslips and of the employment contract ( only for students in employment).
For students without a guarantor:
Several solutions are possible. Indeed, they can obtain a guarantor through the Locapass or Visal online platform, or, if they prefer, a bank guarantee from a bank with a banking establishment in France if the student does not have sufficient income, a guarantee corresponding to the length of the lease, namely the amount of the rent X 12 months.
