Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools District

The district includes 4 high schools of an excellent academic standard. The schools are predominantly Catholic, but they are open to all students, whatever their religion.

Each school takes between 700 and 1 200 students and offers a wide selection of subjects as well as many extracurricular activities. Sport has an important place in each school, and each school has a cafeteria.

The programme

Students choose 5 subjects per semester. For a full school year, that represents 10 subjects in total.

English support lessons are offered in the schools. The district also offers an excellent Fine Arts programme.

The families of Saskatoon welcome students as a member of their family. They look after their safety, their well-being and their successful integration.

They generally live at most 20 minutes by bus from the school or a short walk away.

Local coordinator

During the stay in Saskatoon, the student benefits from the help and support of the manager for international students. This person answers questions and provides the necessary assistance.

She is the main point of contact during the stay. The student is encouraged to contact her if needed.
