Map & landmarks

The town of Torbay is an administrative area bringing together the villages of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, in the south-west of England, 2 hours south-west of Bristol and 45 minutes west of Exeter. Torbay lies along a bay, close to the county of Devon, on Lyme Bay. The town has well-known beaches such as Oddicombe and Babacombe. The oceanic climate is nonetheless marked by the mildness brought by the Gulf Stream ocean current. The seaside resort even has exotic plants such as camellias, fig trees, aloes, magnolias and even a few palm trees.
