I've been there for three moths and i've really enjoyed the school. The teachers were really friendly, good and they made me feel very comfortable. Also the apartment was very cozy. I suggest this school to everybody. "Ciao" from Italy :)

My experience was bad.
I encountered disrespect from a teacher named M.P. that I had never experienced before in my student life. I am 26 years old. There are more expensive but higher quality places. The worst part is that the director never listens to you and they try to cover up the incident. There is no one to talk to. I do not recommend it.

I had a challenging experience with this school. I enrolled in a one-week B1 course with family accommodation. While the program and accommodation were quite costly, I was disappointed to find out that one of the scheduled class days was a holiday, and I was not informed in advance. Unfortunately, there was no compensation or alternative arrangement for this day. Additionally, I was placed in a course that had already started a few weeks earlier and was required to purchase the book. This made it difficult to catch up, and I wish I had been informed of this beforehand to make a more informed decision.

The accommodation experience also fell short of my expectations. It would have been helpful if the host families were more carefully selected to ensure a welcoming and cultural experience. Overall, I believe there is room for improvement in terms of communication, organization, and quality control, both in the courses and accommodations.

I was at DID for half a class two summers ago to better my German and get a feel of Hamburg, I enjoyed it so much that I came right back after graduating Highschool. I then came for about 6 more months and they really seemed to fly by, there’s a great combination of interesting students, fun teachers and other various activities and ways to have fun in a city like Hamburg.

I came with little knowledge of the language and now feel confident to study here in Hamburg and give DID full credit in helping me accomplish that.

I recommend this school if you want to learn German quickly, but also thoroughly. The teachers care about the success of the students and are always there if extra help is needed.

I deeply recommend Did Hamburg if you want to learn German. The teachers are pretty good and the location too. I could learn a lot and make a lot of friends from all over world.
